Los Angeles: City of Angels

More than 4,000 square miles comprise the City of Angels and more than 9 million people call it home. And what a home it is. You could spend weeks, months and even years discovering all this vast city has to offer.

To say Los Angeles is diverse is an understatement—a mix of almost every culture in the world is represented within the county lines of L.A. Many are here because of the opportunity and lifestyle this city offers.

Consider this. When you live in L.A., you could be surfing on the beach in the morning, snowboarding the local mountains in the afternoon and off-roading on desert trails at night. L.A. is centrally located to just about everything.

Traveling while living in L.A. is easy. You can easily take a quick trip north to the beautiful central and northern coast. Experience the wine country, giant redwoods and breathtaking seascapes. Or, cruise south to San Diego for a relaxing weekend on the beach. You can go even further down into Mexico, a country whose beautiful coastal lands still lay untouched by development, freeways and urbanization.

The buzz and nightlife of L.A. make it the “other city that never sleeps.” Rub shoulders with the rich and famous at popular Hollywood nightclubs. Dance to the underground sound of numerous techno parties. Enjoy some of the best food the world has to offer. Meet a plethora of personalities and soak up the scene because in L.A., it’s “always on.”

During the day, there’s plenty to do too. L.A. is rich in culture and heritage, best displayed in its top-rated museums. The Los Angeles City Museum of Arts and the famous Getty Museum are just two of many housings of the incredible art of California residents, as well as many international traveling exhibits.

Then, of course, there are the fun play daytrips to Universal Studios, shopping on Rodeo Drive and scouting out celebrities’ homes around Hollywood. A number of theme parks are either in or near Los Angeles County, including Disneyland, Magic Mountain and Knott’s Berry Farm.

Visit L.A. There’s a very good chance that you’ll want to stay.
